OSTEOPATHY OF NEWBORN AND INFANT
CHILD OSTEOPATHY
OSTEOPATHY OF PREGNANT WOMAN
OSTEOPATHY ADULT
course
Passionate about the human body in its functionality and in its movement, I first studied physiotherapy at the Free University of Brussels. After obtaining my master's degree in motor science, I felt the need to deepen my knowledge. This is how I began studying osteopathy at the Belgian College of Osteopathy., while working as a physiotherapist. Course the 5 years with some internships completed at the European School of Osteopathy (England, , Maidstone).
My experience as a physiotherapist led me to work at the Erasme hospital, in the mother-child service, where I discovered the world of pediatrics. I then had the opportunity to join the Royal Welcoming Institute for Motor Disabilities (Ihriaःn), institute which welcomes children and adolescents with motor disabilities with or without associated disorders. Institution where I develop osteopathy.
In addition to working with adults, I also specialized in the field of pediatrics and perinatal care. So I take care of newborns, infants, the children, as well as pregnant and postpartum women. Since January 2023, I joined the pediatric osteopathy department at CHU Saint-Pierre, where I also take care of maternity and neonatology patients
How does a session go??
As an osteopath, my primary objective is to support you by listening carefully to you and your body. Ensemble, we will work to eliminate mechanical blockages that can compromise your well-being, using gentle techniques.
Each session lasts approximately 45 minutes and begins with an in-depth discussion of your medical history. Ensuite, I carry out specific tests to better understand your needs and adapt the treatment accordingly.
After a complete diagnosis, I adjust my techniques according to your age, of your body shape, your pain and your emotional state, with the aim of restoring mobility, promote tissue exchange and stimulate your body's natural self-healing abilities.
Finally, the session ends with explanations of the treatment carried out and personalized recommendations to maintain the long-term benefits.
